Intimate Waxing Course
The Intimate Waxing Course is advanced training for therapists who already hold a basic waxing qualification.
The course focuses on using hot, stripless wax for high bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood treatments. These services require greater control than standard body waxing because the treatment area is sensitive and the hair can be coarse.
You will learn how to prepare the skin, apply hot wax in controlled sections and remove it while supporting the surrounding skin. Your tutor will also explain how to manage wax temperature, client positioning and treatment pace.
Professional conduct is an important part of intimate waxing. The training covers client privacy, clear communication, suitable draping and respectful treatment-room practice.
After successful completion, you will receive an Intimate Waxing Diploma. The course is accredited and insurable, subject to holding the required waxing qualification and arranging suitable professional insurance.
Complete beginners can study intimate waxing through our Complete Hair Removal Specialist Course. This programme also includes standard waxing and threading.
Intimate Waxing Styles Covered
High Bikini Wax
A high bikini wax removes more hair than a standard bikini treatment while keeping hair over the main intimate area.
Brazilian Wax
A Brazilian wax removes most intimate hair while leaving a small strip or shape at the front, based on the client’s preference.
Hollywood Wax
A Hollywood wax removes all hair from the intimate treatment area.
Using Hot Wax on Intimate Areas
Hot wax is applied directly to the treatment area and allowed to set before removal. A paper or fabric strip is not used.
The wax must be applied at a safe temperature and in sections that can be removed with control. You will learn how to check the wax, select a suitable amount and avoid working repeatedly over the same skin.
The tutor will also demonstrate how to work with different hair-growth directions and how to remove smaller sections where greater precision is needed.
