No previous experience is required. The course is suitable for anyone who wants to work as a make-up artist, offer bridal make-up or improve their current skills.

Class sizes are kept small. This gives each student more support during tutor demonstrations and practical work.

You will complete the theory through home study before attending the academy. This allows more time for hands-on training during the practical day.

Your tutor will break each treatment into clear steps. You will learn how to prepare the skin, choose suitable colours and adapt make-up to different face and eye shapes.

You will also practise bridal make-up, colour correction, contouring, blending and modern eye make-up techniques.

Students may photograph and record tutor demonstrations for personal learning, subject to tutor approval and the privacy of other students and models.

All products and equipment needed during the training day are provided by the academy.

After you pass the course, you will receive a Level 2 Make Up Diploma. The course is accredited and insurable, subject to arranging suitable professional insurance.
