Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Successful completion of the Focus Awards Level 4 Award in Facial Anatomy & Physiology, or
• A minimum of two years’ practical experience in skin needling and successful entry through the Recognition of Prior Learning process, or
• Level 3 beauty qualification.

Learners applying through the Recognition of Prior Learning route must:

• Provide evidence of their pre-requisite knowledge, skills and practical experience.
• Attend a centre interview.
• Demonstrate their practical competence in skin needling.
• Successfully satisfy the centre that they possess the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to undertake this qualification.

Acceptance via the Recognition of Prior Learning route is subject to the centre’s assessment and the requirements of Focus Awards.

Evidence of qualifications or practical experience must be provided before enrolment.
