Scottish Beauty Expert Training Academy offers the advanced Ombre & Powder Brow Course to help you establish yourself as a semi-permanent brow artist.
We train you on the machine brow technique to create an ombre and powdered brow effect. When your clients look for more coverage in their brow or want a bolder look, you can use this machine method of semi-permanent brow technique to create the desired look. For those with sparse brows, shading and powdering are fantastic options that let you customise each client’s treatment specifically for them.
Enrolling in an Ombre & Powder Brow Course can be a great way to learn the latest techniques in semi-permanent makeup and take your career as a beauty professional to the next level. The semi-permanent makeup industry has high growth potential, and providing professional service will allow you to have permanent clients who would pay repeat visits to your salon for regular touch-ups.

Ombre & Powder Brow Course Curriculum
The machine method eyebrow procedures covered in the semi-permanent brow course include both theoretical and practical components. Before starting with the practical curriculum, you will need to complete the theory part on the online portal. You will have access to the online curriculum in future too. To finish the practical, hands-on training, you then attend two practice days at the academy.
Day 1: On the first day of the Ombre & Powder Brow Course, you will need to complete the theory part through the online portal. You will have lifetime access to the portal for future reference.
Day 2: You will start the second day by recapping the previous day’s learnings like health and safety, legislation, skin types, brow mapping, colour theory, needle configuration, and using the machine. Next, you will work on the practice skin to get a hold of the machine. And finally, you will see a live demonstration by an expert brow technician, which you are allowed to record for future reference.
Day 3: Our trainers will give you feedback on your homework. You will practise the technique on practice skin in the first half of the day and work on two live models in the second half. Our trainers will give you feedback on your work and then take you through a recap of the whole process and a Q&A round.
