Eyelash Extensions Course
The Eyelash Extensions Course teaches you how to apply individual extensions to the natural lashes. The aim is to create a neat, balanced result while keeping each natural lash separate.
This one-day course is suitable for complete beginners. You do not need a previous lash or beauty qualification.
Your tutor will demonstrate the full treatment before you begin practical work. You will learn how to isolate individual lashes, control the adhesive and place each extension in the correct position.
The course also covers infill appointments, maintenance and professional removal. These skills are important because clients may return regularly to maintain their lash extensions.
After successful completion, you will receive an Eyelash Extensions Diploma. The qualification is accredited and insurable, subject to arranging suitable professional insurance.
Classic Individual Lash Application
The course focuses on classic lash extensions. One extension is applied to one suitable natural lash.
You will learn how to choose lengths and styles that suit the client’s natural lashes and desired result. Extensions should not be too long or heavy for the natural lash.
Your tutor will show you how to create a clean lash line and an even finish across both eyes.
Lash Isolation and Adhesive Control
Correct isolation prevents the natural lashes from sticking together. It also allows each extension to move with the natural lash as it grows.
You will practise holding the isolation tweezers, selecting one natural lash and keeping the surrounding lashes apart.
The course also covers adhesive control. You will learn how much adhesive to use, where to place the extension and how to avoid contact with the eyelid.

Infills and Lash Maintenance
Natural lashes grow and shed as part of their normal cycle. This means clients may return for regular infill appointments.
You will learn how to assess the existing lash set, remove unsuitable extensions and apply new lashes where needed.
The course also explains how client aftercare can affect retention and the condition of the extensions.
Safe Eyelash Extension Removal
Eyelash extensions should not be pulled from the natural lashes.
You will learn how to use a suitable removal product and separate the extensions without causing unnecessary stress to the natural lashes.
Your tutor will also explain when a full removal may be more suitable than an infill appointment.
Progressing to Advanced Lash Techniques
The Eyelash Extensions Diploma provides a foundation for further lash training.
