Korean Contour Lymphatic Drainage Facial Course
The Korean Contour Lymphatic Drainage Facial Course combines manual facial movements, Korean contour techniques and Gua Sha within one structured treatment routine.
The treatment focuses on the face, neck and décolleté. It is designed to create a refreshed appearance and temporarily reduce the look of facial puffiness through gentle, controlled movements.
You will learn how to assess the client’s facial structure, identify suitable treatment areas and follow the correct movement direction. The treatment can then be adapted to the client’s comfort and desired result.
This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as facialists, beauty therapists, skin specialists and spa therapists.
After successful completion, you will receive a Korean Contour Lymphatic Drainage Facial Certificate. The course is accredited and insurable, subject to arranging suitable professional insurance.
What Makes This Facial Different?
This facial combines three methods within one treatment:
- Manual facial lymphatic drainage movements
- Korean-inspired facial contour techniques
- Gua Sha movements for the face, neck and jawline
The manual techniques use light, rhythmic movements. These are different from deep facial massage and should not involve heavy pressure.
The contouring section focuses on areas such as the jawline, cheeks and lower face. The aim is to create a more defined and refreshed appearance without invasive treatment.
Understanding Facial Lymphatic Drainage
The course introduces the basic lymphatic pathways found around the face and neck.
You will learn why movement direction matters and why pressure should remain gentle. Your tutor will show you how to follow a planned sequence rather than moving randomly across the face.
The training includes work around:
- The sides of the neck
- The jawline
- The chin and lower face
- The cheeks
- The area around the mouth
- The forehead and temples
- The upper chest and décolleté
Korean Facial Contour Techniques
Korean facial contouring methods focus on controlled hand placement, movement direction and treatment rhythm.
You will learn how to work around the natural structure of the face. This includes adapting the routine to different jawlines, cheek shapes and areas of visible puffiness.
The course does not teach permanent facial reshaping. Any visible contouring effect is temporary and will vary between clients.
Gua Sha Facial Techniques
Gua Sha tools are used to support selected parts of the facial routine.
You will learn how to hold the tool, maintain a suitable angle and use light pressure. The tool should move smoothly across properly prepared skin without dragging or causing discomfort.
The practical training covers:
- Selecting a suitable Gua Sha tool
- Preparing the skin before use
- Holding the tool at the correct angle
- Working around the jaw and cheeks
- Using gentle movements around the neck
- Cleaning and storing the tool
- Avoiding unsuitable or sensitive areas
Client Consultation and Facial Assessment
A detailed consultation must be completed before treatment.
You will learn how to discuss the client’s concerns, skincare routine, recent treatments and relevant health information.
The consultation helps you decide whether the facial is suitable and which areas should receive the most attention.
You will also learn how to manage expectations. Results differ according to facial structure, skin condition, fluid retention and lifestyle factors.
