Brow lamination is suited to clients whose brow hairs grow downwards, cross over or sit in an uneven direction. The treatment helps reposition the hairs and create a more polished shape.

You will learn how to assess the natural brows before applying any product. Hair strength, growth direction and the client’s preferred finish must all be considered.

The result may remain visible for up to six weeks. This will vary according to the client’s natural hair cycle, brow condition and aftercare.

A full Brow Lamination kit worth £110 is included with the course.

How Brow Lamination Works

Brow lamination uses a series of products to soften, redirect and set the natural brow hairs.

The hairs are brushed into the planned position before they are fixed in place. This can help the brows look fuller without adding extensions or permanent colour.

The finished result can be styled as soft and natural or more lifted and defined, depending on the client’s brow growth and preference.

Assessing the Natural Brows

A brow assessment must be completed before the treatment begins.

You will learn how to check:

  • The direction of natural brow growth
  • The strength and condition of the hairs
  • Sparse or uneven areas
  • The balance between both brows
  • The client’s preferred shape and finish
  • Signs that the treatment may not be suitable

This assessment helps you decide how the hairs should be positioned and whether the treatment can be carried out safely.

Product Placement and Processing

Brow-lamination products must be applied with control and removed at the correct stage.

You will learn how to follow the product sequence and monitor the brow hairs throughout the treatment.

Processing times may vary according to the product instructions and the condition of the client’s brows. The hairs should be checked during the treatment rather than relying only on a fixed time.

Creating the Finished Brow Shape

The brows should be styled to suit the client rather than brushed into the same shape for every treatment.

You will learn how to direct the hairs through the front, body, arch and tail of the brow.

The course also covers how to create a fuller finish without making the hairs look stiff, flat or overworked.
