Henna Brows Diploma Course
The Henna Brows Diploma Course teaches brow technicians how to create customised colour, clear definition and an ombré finish using professional brow henna.
Henna brow treatments require more than applying one standard shade. You will learn how to mix colours for different clients, adjust the depth of the result and work with both natural brow hairs and the surrounding skin.
The course also covers stubborn grey brow hairs. Your tutor will explain how preparation, colour choice and application can affect the finished coverage.
Brow mapping and shaping are completed before the henna is applied. This helps you create a balanced outline and prevents colour from being placed outside the planned brow shape.
Students booking the Henna Brows Course without the Brow Waxing Add-On must already hold a brow waxing or shaping qualification. Students may also book the course with the Brow Waxing Add-On where available.
After successful completion, you will receive a Henna Brows Stylist Diploma. The qualification is accredited and insurable, subject to meeting the applicable entry requirements and arranging suitable professional insurance.
Professional Henna Colour Mixing
The henna range used during training includes seven colour options. These shades can be mixed to create a colour that suits the client’s natural brows, hair and preferred finish.
You will learn how to avoid using the same colour formula for every client. The course covers adjusting shade depth and creating a result that does not appear too warm, dark or harsh.
Your tutor will demonstrate how the amount of each shade may affect the finished colour.
Creating an Ombré Brow Finish
An ombré brow should appear softer at the front and more defined through the middle and tail.
You will learn how to control the amount of product placed in each section. The henna should follow the mapped outline while keeping the front of the brow lighter and less block-like.
The course covers:
- Creating a soft brow front
- Building colour through the body of the brow
- Adding definition to the arch and tail
- Keeping the upper and lower lines clean
- Removing the product without disturbing the shape
Covering Grey Brow Hairs
Grey brow hairs may respond differently to colour and can require more careful product selection.
You will learn how to prepare the brows, mix a suitable shade and apply the henna with enough control to improve visible coverage.
Your tutor will also explain why results may vary according to the condition, texture and percentage of grey hair.
Brow Mapping and Preparation
The brow shape must be planned before the colour is applied.
You will learn how to identify the starting point, arch and end of each brow. You will also assess the natural thickness and balance between both sides.
The preparation stage includes cleansing the treatment area, removing surface oils and creating a clear outline for the henna application.
Correct preparation can help produce a cleaner shape and more even colour.
