The skin care SCQF level 5 course will help candidates to demonstrate competency and proficiency in facial treatments. SQA Facial Skin Care Course Description

The SQA Facial Skin Care Course (SCQF level 5) is covered over 2 practical training days at the academy with some home study in between to complete your portfolio. When you attend day 1 of the skin care treatment course level 5, you will be given various home study materials which you will use as a guide to complete the written portfolio at home. The theoretical portion will enhance and aid a better practical performance.

The focus of this Unit is centred around both the theory and practical aspects. The SQA Facial Skin Care Course helps the candidates to identify and analyse the essential aspects of skin and how to tailor the treatment to suit the clients needs.

What should I wear?
Students should wear a tunic or all black to attend the SQA Facial course at the Glasgow or Aberdeen beauty training academy.

Do I get a kit with the course?
The SQA Facial course does not come with a kit but we provide all products and equipment for SQA Facial Treatments training.

Can I work professionally After the course?
The SQA Facial course is fully accredited and insurable on completion meaning you can work professionally straight away or start your own business etc

What if I can’t find a model?
For the SQA Facial course we suggest you try posting on model groups on social media and if you are still struggling nearer the time then contact us and we can help.

Can I film the course?

Yes, we recommend that students attending the SQA Facial courses in Glasgow or Aberdeen bring their phones into the training room and film the demo

What if I change my mind or want to change courses?
The SQA Facial course is non refundable. If you wish to change or cancel you would receive a course credit which can go towards any future beauty course booking.
