On completion of the Combination Brow Course, you will be able to offer microblading hair stroke brows, combination brows using machine shading and hair strokes, and machine brow methods to create ombre and powdered effect brows.
Machine method semi-permanent brows are a great option for clients seeking more coverage or a bolder brow look, while microblading offers a more natural hair stroke finish. Having both options allows you to create a tailored treatment for each client.
Semi-permanent make-up is a growing industry and can offer high profit margins, with clients returning for regular top-ups.
The Combination Brow Course includes both theory and practical elements covering microblading with handheld tools and machine method eyebrow techniques. You will complete the theory work through the online portal, which you have lifetime access to before attending the academy for practical training.
You will then attend 4 practical days at the academy to complete hands-on work. You also have the option to add Lip Blush at the discounted rate of £999.
Course Schedule
Day 1: Online portal access to complete the theory work.
Day 2: Recap on legislation, health and safety, colour theory, skin types and brow mapping. You will work on practice skin to create microblading hair stroke patterns and observe a live microblading demonstration, which you can film. Homework will be given to complete that evening.
Day 3: Feedback will be given on your homework tasks. You will work on practice skin in the morning to perfect microblading hair stroke techniques before working on 2 live models in the afternoon.
Day 4: You will go through machine set-up, observe a machine method demonstration and work on practice skin to perfect shading and ombre techniques. Homework will be given to complete that evening.
Day 5: Recap on homework tasks, practice skin work and then working on 2 live models in the afternoon. You will receive tutor feedback, recap the course content and complete a Q&A session.
This in-depth course has been structured from start to finish with beginners in mind. It is designed to provide maximum hands-on experience and help build confidence on completion. No case studies are required after successful completion of the course.
The course also covers relevant anatomy and physiology of the skin, along with in-depth knowledge of microblading, machine method techniques and colour theory. This is reinforced while working on live models.
Class sizes are kept very small to help ensure you get the maximum value from the training. Highly skilled tutors will be available throughout the course to guide you step by step.
There is also the option to add Lip Blush for an additional day at the academy for the discounted rate of just £999.
