A key part of the course is learning how to adapt make-up to the individual client. You will consider skin tone, face shape, eye shape and the finish the client wants.

Your tutor will demonstrate each stage before you practise the techniques yourself. You will work through a full make-up application, from skin preparation and base products to eye make-up, brows, contouring and finishing touches.

The course also includes guidance on choosing brushes, comparing products and building a useful make-up kit without buying unnecessary items. Tutors will explain where professional products are worth the cost and where suitable high-street options may be used.

No previous experience is required. After successful completion, you will receive a Make Up Diploma. The course is accredited and insurable, subject to arranging suitable professional insurance.
